Lo primero, perdonad la falta de acentos. Escribo desde un british teclado y aun no se como buscar los acentos y esas cosas... Ya me enterare para que el proximo post sea correctisimo.

Hoy, estaba leyendo online la revista Glamour en la que han publicado un articulo referente al estilo de la actriz Jennifer Lawrence. A la vez, tenia la tele puesta, como dice una vieja amiga, para que diera ambiente. Estaban poniendo un capitulo de la antiquisima "Se ha escrito un crimen". En una furtiva mirada (que poetico :)) me fije en el look de la prota que por casualidad era el mismo que destacaban de Jennifer Lawrence!!! Evidentemente con unos cuantos siglos de diferencia.


Today, I was reading the online version of the magazine Glamour where they published an article regarding actress Jennifer Lawrence's style. At the same time, I had the tv on so that, as an old friend says, it gives an atmosphere. A chapter of the old series Crime, she wrote was on. In a short glance I noticed the main character's look which coincidently was similar to Jennifer Lawrence's!!! Of course with a few centuries of difference.


En la serie, la protagonista Jessica Fletcher (interpretada por Angela Lansbury), luce una blusa blanca, falda y chaqueta de punto azul, y un pañuelo en tonos azules, verdes y amarillos (creo).


In the series, Jessica Fletcher (played by Angela Lansbury), wore a white blouse, blue skirt and wool jacket, neckerchief in blues, greens and yellows (I think).

El look de Jennifer, protagonista de Los Juegos del Hambre y que se estrenara en España el proximo 20 de abril, es muy retro y sencillo. Creo que en cuanto pueda, me hago un look similar :) 


Jennifer's look, lead role in The Humger Games to be released on the 20th April in Spain, is very retro and simple. I think that as soon as I can, I'll get a look like this one :)

DIY crazy

Desde hace un par de meses sigo fielmente las entradas del blog de DIYs de "B a la moda", en stylelovely. Son geniales. Ella, Belén, publica videos los miércoles y los lunes, algo de un colaborador. For the past few months I've been following the posts from the DIY blog from "B a la moda" at stylelovely. They are great. She, Belén, posts videos each wednesday, and on mondays she posta a DIY from a contributor. Siguiendo esos blogs, tarde o temprano tendría que pasar... Yo tendría mi momento DIY.

Following these blogs, sooner or later it would happen... I would have my DIY moment.

Tengo cosas por casa que no uso, pero me da cosa tirarlas. Una de ellas era un cuello de pelo que venía con un abrigo de Zara Kids (si, me vale esa ropa). Era de quita y pon. Mirando blogs de DIY, uno proponía hacer unas orejeras, con fieltro, una diadema y pegamento.

I have things that I no longer use but cannot just through them away. One of these was a fur neck from a Zara Kids coat (yes, they fit me). It was a take on and off kind of neck. Searching through DIY blogs, one proposed some ear cuffs with felt, an air band and glue.

Otro DIY, con cintas de colores y unas asas de una bolsa de regalo de Dijoüs, (en la que venía un pulserita muy mona que me regalaron hace tiempo, y que ya enseñaré).

Another DIY, with coloured ribbons and some bag handles out of a gift bag from Dijoüs, (in which came a nice bracelet I was given a while ago, I'll show some other time).

Hoy, una entrada breve.
Today, a short entry.

Normalmente tengo que ir corriendo a todas partes. Para hacerlo cómodamente, y sin riesgo de accidentes, me decanto por zapatos planos.
Usually I always go on the run. To make it easilly, and without risking an accident, I go for flat shoes.

Unos de mis favoritos son estos, tipo Oxford, dorados de Parfois.
Ones of my favourites are these, Oxford like, golden, from Parfois.

Para que la entrada no sea taaan corta, quiero compartir con vosotros un sitio de Madrid ideal para tomar algo antes, durante, después de unas compritas o porque sí. Se trata de la cafetería de la tienda FNAC que abrieron hace unos meses en Nuevos Ministerios, al ladito de El Corte Inglés. Está en la última planta, la de los libros y es muy agradable.
For it not to such a short entry, I want to share with you a place in Madrid, good to have something before, while, after shopping, or just because you want to. It it the cafeteria at the FNAC that opened a few months ago at Nuevos Ministerios, right next to El Corte Inglés. It is on the shop's last floor, the books one, and it is quite nice.

Aqui estoy de nuevo, con más looks.
Here I am again, with more looks.

Mientras, estos días, las celebrities saltan de una alfombra roja a otra, el resto de las mortales nos tenemos que conformar con pasear por la moqueta marrón de la oficina, como es mi caso.
While these days celebs go from one red carpet to the other, the rest of mortals have like me have to content with walking the crown carpet pf our office.

Los días que más comodidad necesito, me decanto por vestidos.
For those days where I need to feel more confortable, I go for dresses.

Vestido 1: de La Compañía Fantástica. Es bastante fino pero con medias tupidas y una camiseta de tirantes de bajo, se va fenomenal.
Dress 1; from La Compañía Fantástica. It is a thin dress but with thick tights and a shoulder straped top, it fine.

Vestido 2: de Tachuela, una tienda que había cerca de Pza del Perú, Madrid. Me lo regaló mi madre hace años y tengo que admitir que no me había atrevido a ponérmelo hasta ahora. Es de punto, blanco y algo finito por lo que hay que ponerse algo debajo.
Dress 2: from Tachuela, an shop that was near Pza del Perú, Madrid. My mother gave it to me years ago but, I have to admit I didn't dare to wear it until now. It's a thin white wool dress so you must wear something underneath.

Vestido 3: de Mango. Lo lucio en azul marino, una de las protagonistas de la serie de Mango.com, What Should I Wear Today.
Dress 3: from Mango. One of the actresses from the Mango.com series, What Should I Wear Today, wore the same dress in navy blue.

Otro look para ir a trabajar, pantalón corto del año mil, herencia de mi hermana mayor, combinado con camiseta roja de Benetton, medias negras y rebeca negra de Sfera. El toque de alegría, un collar multicolor de Sfera de la primavera pasada.
Another look for work, shorts from ages ago, inheritance from my elder sister, combined with red Benetton t-shirts, black tights and black cardigan from Sfera. The happy touch, a multicolour necklace from Sfera, for last spring.

A veces apetece ir más cómoda, o más abrigada, con un pantalón. He aqui dos looks de dos compañeras:
la primera con pantalón negro y botas de caña alta del mismo color, camiseta con lunarcitos grises, rebeca en rosa palo y foulard del mismo color con dibujillos en negro. La segunda, lucio unos vaqueros, jersey de punto verde, cinturón marrón con topes dorados y botines de cuña marrón.
Sometimes you feel like going more at ease, or warmer, with tousers. Here you have two looks from two colleagues at work: the first with black trousers and high black boot, grey dotted top, light pink cardigan and foulard in same colour with fine drawings in black. The second, wore jeans, green wool top, thin brown belt with golden endings and brown bootees.

Para un look formal, muchas optan por un traje. Para presentar la cadena de Hoteles para la que trabaja, una colaboradora se decantó por un traje pantalón negro, un top de lunares blancos, mini medias negras, unos zapatos de corte masculino en charol negro (eran preciosos pero no consigo dibujarlos). El toque de color, un divertidisimo cinturón con un lazo rojo.
For a more formal look, many go for a 2 pieces. To present a Hotel chain she works for, a partner wore a black suite, white spotted top, socks in black, masculin looking shoes (beautiful but couldn't draw them). The touch of coulour, a funny red belt with a big bow.

Para terminar, en honor a estos días de invierno totalmente normales, hace tiempo vi a una chica que llevaba un abrigo claro y al cuello un bufanda de punto del mismo tono, pitillos y unos botines de los más originales: dorados ribeteados en marrón.
To end, in the hounour the present and normal winter days, a few days ago I saw a girl wearing a light coloured coat and a wooly scarf in the same colour, skinny jeans and a very original bootees: golden and brown edges.

Bueno, ahora toca seguir disfrutando del amor, no solo por San Valentín ehh :)
