Lo primero, perdonad la falta de acentos. Escribo desde un british teclado y aun no se como buscar los acentos y esas cosas... Ya me enterare para que el proximo post sea correctisimo.

Hoy, estaba leyendo online la revista Glamour en la que han publicado un articulo referente al estilo de la actriz Jennifer Lawrence. A la vez, tenia la tele puesta, como dice una vieja amiga, para que diera ambiente. Estaban poniendo un capitulo de la antiquisima "Se ha escrito un crimen". En una furtiva mirada (que poetico :)) me fije en el look de la prota que por casualidad era el mismo que destacaban de Jennifer Lawrence!!! Evidentemente con unos cuantos siglos de diferencia.


Today, I was reading the online version of the magazine Glamour where they published an article regarding actress Jennifer Lawrence's style. At the same time, I had the tv on so that, as an old friend says, it gives an atmosphere. A chapter of the old series Crime, she wrote was on. In a short glance I noticed the main character's look which coincidently was similar to Jennifer Lawrence's!!! Of course with a few centuries of difference.


En la serie, la protagonista Jessica Fletcher (interpretada por Angela Lansbury), luce una blusa blanca, falda y chaqueta de punto azul, y un pañuelo en tonos azules, verdes y amarillos (creo).


In the series, Jessica Fletcher (played by Angela Lansbury), wore a white blouse, blue skirt and wool jacket, neckerchief in blues, greens and yellows (I think).

El look de Jennifer, protagonista de Los Juegos del Hambre y que se estrenara en España el proximo 20 de abril, es muy retro y sencillo. Creo que en cuanto pueda, me hago un look similar :) 


Jennifer's look, lead role in The Humger Games to be released on the 20th April in Spain, is very retro and simple. I think that as soon as I can, I'll get a look like this one :)

2012

¡Han pasado 22 días de 2012! El tiempo vuela.

También han pasado unos cuantos días desde mi último post. Con los viajes para las pasar las fiestas con la familia no podía escanear nada :( y a la vuelta tocó estudiar (en ello sigo) pero, he podido sacar un hueco para mostraros un par de looks que lucieron algunas compañeras en la cena de empresa, looks que vi en los aeropuertos por los que he tenido que pasar y mis looks para las vacaciones.

Para el nuevo año, he decidido darle una vuelta a mis dibujos, hacerlos con otra línea, espero que os gusten. En el post de hoy, encontraréis una mezcla de los dos estilos.

22 days into 2012! Time flies.

Also, a few days have passed since I last posted anything. With all the travelling to enjoy Christmas with the family, I couldn't scan my drawings :( and back home I had to study (still at it) but, I've been able to spare some time to show you some of the looks from colleagues at the dinner party, looks seen at the airports and my holiday looks.

For the new year, I've decided to change my drawings a bit, do them differently, hope you like them. In today's post you will find a mix of the two styles.

Después de darle mil vueltas, para la cena de empresa me animé a ponerme una falda estilo bailarina que compré la Navidad anterior en La Compañía Fantástica y que no había estrenado aún porque la goma que tenía me apretaba bastante. Para solucionarlo, la doblé hacia dentro. Como complementos una diadema comprada en el último momento en una pequeña tienda cerca del Meliá Castilla, con una mariposa y brillantitos en un lado, bolso tipo sobre de H&M y botines negros con mega tacón. A mano, siempre, mis bailarinas plegables negras compradas hace dos años en H&M.

After long thinking, for the company`s dinner party I decided to wear a ballerina type skirt, bought the previous Christmas at La Compañía Fantástica and that I hadn't wore yet because the elastic waist band was too tight. As a solution, I pleated it inwards. The accessories: a hair band with a small butterfly at a side, bought at a little shop near the Hotel Meliá Castilla, envelope cluch from H&M and black anckle boots with mega heels. At hand, always, my foldable black flats bought two years ago at H&M.

Mi hermana, incondicional de los pantalones para este tipo de eventos, se decantó por llevar camisa blanca con babero de Zara, pantalones negros de H&M, collar de Sfera, salones negros, bolso sobre negro de H&M y un fajín de smoking negro que le prestó un amigo.

My sister, who prefers to wear trousers for this kind of events, wore a white shirt from Zara, black trousers from H&M, necklace from Sfera, black heels, black envelope cluch from H&M and a black cummerbund.

Otros looks de la fiesta que, para mi, son totalmente ponibles en cualquier otro momento como puede ser una noche de chicas o una cena especial ;)

Other looks at the party that, for me, are absolutely right for any other occasion as a girls night out or a special dinner ;)

El mismo 23 de Diciembre, tocaba salir a las 5 de la mañana para el aeropuerto. Primero Lisboa y unos días más tarde Piosina (un pueblo en Umbria) vía Roma, para volver a Madrid desde allí.

The 23rd December, had to leave for the airport at 5 in the morning. First to Lisbon and a few days after to Piosina (a village in Umbria) through Rome, and back to Madrid from there.

Para las vacaciones looks muy sencillos y combinables entre sí, una de mis premisas. Me llevé unos shorts, medias de varios colores y unos vaqueros por si hacía frio. Las partes de arriba, camisetas blancas (no puedo vivir sin ellas), un top de punto blanco y manga corta de H&M del año pasado, mi top verde de Mango y el jersey de rayas de H&M que habéis visto en otros posts. Para los pies unos botines que me compré en Next hace unos tres años y unas bailarinas beige de H&M.

Unos de los tops me tocó como regalo de navidad de parte de mis hermanas. En un top beige, con cuello bebé y conejitos en negro (el último del dibujo). ¡Me encanta!

For the holidays, I chose very simple looks that could be intermatched, one of my premises. I took shorts, tights of various colours and jeans for a colder day. For the top, white T's (can't live without them), a white wooly short sleeved top from H&M, my green top from Mango and the striped pullover from H&M seen in previous posts. For my feet, a pair of boots from Next and beige flats from H&M.

One of the tops as a christmas present from my sisters. A beige top with black baby neck and rabbits. Love it!

Para un día de relax vacacional, o fin de semana: jersey de cuello alto de Zara, falda vaquera de Formul@Joven, medias azules, botas de Next, bufanda larga de Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, gorrito parisino rojo de Accessorize, un buen abrigo, este de Sfera niños, y un café bien caliente.

For a relaxing holiday walk, or weekend: turtleneck pullover from Zara, skirt from Formul@Joven, blue tights, boots from Next, long wool scarf from Agatha Ruiza de la Prada, french hat from Accessorize, good coat, this from Sfera kids, and a nice hot coffee.

Como habéis podido ver en un post anterior, para viajar prefiero comodidad. Pero, la comodidad no está reñida con ir bien como lo pude comprobar en varios looks de otras viajeras.

As you were able to seen in a previous post, to travel I prefer confortable looks. But, confort is not at odds with looking good as I was could see from other travelers.

Bueno, como decían en un famoso Cartoon, esto es to-, esto es to-, esto es todo amigos :)

Semana Versace

¡Hola!

Hello!

Esta ha sido una semana de emociones. La primera ha sido porque mi chico ha roto mi taza de gatitos :( Los desayunos ya no serán lo mismo.

This has been a weeek of emotions. The first was because my boyfriend broke my kittens mug :( Breakfasts won't be the same.

 El miércoles me recuperé del shock. He sido una de las muchisimas afortunadas que ha disfrutado de la preventa de la colección Versace para H&M :) La cita era a las 22h en la tienda de Gran Vía 32, Madrid. Cuando llegué, había un montón de gente en la puerta y un poco de lío sobre dónde empezaba la cola. Allí me enteré que había dos, una para Invitados por Lista (¡a leer mucho este blog para que la próxima me toque!) y otros con invitación de SModa... Mi cola era la segunda y ¡daba la vuelta al edificio! He aquí el comienzo de la cola, estábamos en la calle Mesoneros Romanos...

Wednesday, I got out of shock. I've been one of the many lucky people that enjoyed the presale of Versace for H&M :) The event was at 10pm in Gran Via 32, Madrid. When I got there there were loads of peopl and a bit of confusion about the queue. There were two, one with invitations (follow this blog avery day so that next time I get to be on the list) and the other was for people with SModa magazine's invitation. My queue was the second and it went ¡ all arround the bloc! This is where we started...

Pero la espera valió la pena, pude ver la colección Versace y disfrutar del 20% de descuento sobre el resto de la colección de H&M. Me agencié un LBD que llevaba siglos buscando, uno en un tono nude muy mono y un jersey a rayas marrones y negras. El último lo vereis en uno de los dibus de la entrada de hoy. La velada de Shopping estuvo amenizada por un DJ, cócteles y cosillas para picar tipo nachos, frutos secos, crudités.

But, it was worth to wait. I was able to see theVersace collection and enjoy the 20% off onall the rest of H&M. I bough a LBD that I've looking for for ages, another in nude, very cute, and a wool top y black and brown stripes. This last one you'l see in the drawings for today's post. While shopping we enjoy a DJ session live, cocktails and nachos, crudités, etc.

La invitación, nos dejaron quedarnosla.

A la salida,  nos dieron una bolsa con un cuaderno de Versace con las hojas en blanco y en los bordes de cada hoja, la greca típica de la marca, la revista SModa de este sábado y una muestra de perfume que por cierto soy incapaz de abrir. Las bolsas, monisimas:

On the way out, we were given a bag with a Versace notebook, next saturday's SModa magazine and a small Versace cologne to try, which I've not been able to open yet. The bags are sooo nice:

Pero antes, no pudimos evitar retratarnos en el foto call, y yo hice una foto a los globitos :)

Before leaving, we couldn't stop ourselves from picturing us at the photo call, and I took a picture of some balloons :)

Esta semana tocaba ponerme faldas y vestidos, que luego con el frío del invierno cuesta más. El lunes me puse un vestido de punto azul de hace un par de años de la Compañía Fantástica. No podía dejar de llevar mi maxi bolso negro de Tesco.

This week, I wore dresses and skirts as later on, when cold comes, it will be harder. On monday I wore a blue dress from La Compañía Fantástica. I had to use my Tesco maxi bag.

El martes, me puse una falda con todos morados de Formul@Joven.

On tuesday, I wore a skirt that I fell inlove two years ago and bough half price the next, from Formul@Joven.

Para la Shopping Night, me decanté por un look H&M: falda ajustada negra y top beige.

For the Shopping Night, I went for an H&M look: black mini and beige top.

Para el jueves, como dormía en casa de mi hermana (para ahorrar taxi hasta la mía) me puse la misma falda de H&M y el jersey que me agencié aprovechado el descuento de la Shopping Night.

On thursday, as I slept at my sister's (didn't want to pay for taxi to my place), I wore the same black skirt as the previous day and the striped wool top that I got at the Shopping Night.

Y ahora a recoger porque me voy al Rastrillo benéfico que organiza Nuevo Futuro, como todos los años, en el pabellón de la Pipa en la Casa de Campo, Madrid. Entre otros, está el stand de Portugal que siempre traen cosas monisimas (a parte de toallas) y que todos los años vende muchisimo para colaborar en la causa.

And now, I'm going to a benefit market calle Rastrillo that Nuevo Futuro organizes each year. Amongst other there is the Portuguese stand where they sell a lot of beautifull stuff and make a lot of money for the cause.

De viernes.

Dicen que después de la tormenta, llega la calma. Se podría identificar este dicho con el final de la semana y el comienzo del finde. Ayer ya tuve un pequeño adelanto disfrutando de un buen vino de León en un bar cerca de mi oficina. Lo definen como espacio gourmet. Y por fin llegó el viernes, aunque lluvioso. Hoy me puse algo más informal:

In Spain it'ssaid that after the storm,peace comes. We could say so about the end of the week and the beggining of the weekend. Yesterday I've started off enjoying a nive León wine in a bar near theoffice. They define it as gourmet space. The tapas are very good and their croissants are great.

El top verde de manga corta es de Mango de esta temporada, el pantalón corto vaquero lo tengo desde hace tiempo de FormulaJoven, unas medias azul marino y las botas que os comenté el otro día. Para no achicharrarme en la oficina con las botas, llevaba también unas PretttyBallerias que gané en un sorteo de Glamour hace tiempo. El bolso, de un zoco de Marruecos (balato balato).

The green top is from Mango, this season's, the jeans shorts I'vehad them for ages from FormulaJoven, blue panties and the boots I show you the other day, I also took with me my PrettyBallerinas, won in a draw made by Glamour. The bag, from Morocco.

Esta tarde, de camino a casa de mi hermana, me he pasado por Mango a devolver unas cosas :( pero, no os preocupéis, de paso le eché el ojo a otras ;) De Mango, entre otras muchas, me gustó un top con print animal (creo que serpiente, pero no estoy segura) que iría genial con una falda negra que tengo de H&M del año pasado.

This afternoon, on my way to my sister's home, I stoped in Mango to return some stuff :( but, don't worry, I noted down some other stuff for another moment. From Mango, amongsts others, I liked a top with animal print (snake I think) that would look great with a black skirt from H&M.

De ahí, a Sfera a buscar una chaqueta. Me sorprendió gratamente que este año me puedo poner su talla S sin que parezca que llevo la ropa dos tallas más grandes. Me probé un par de chaquetas ya que ando buscando alguna para estos días que hace falta pero, me parece exagerado ponerme ya el abrigazo.

From there to Sfera to look for a jacket. I was gratefully surprised to see that this year I can wear their size S without it looking 2 sizes up. A I need one, I tried a couple of jackets.

No pude evitar enamorarme de una chaqueta corta tipo capa de Sherlock Holmes :D Cuando la vea mi chico seguro que me la coge prestada porque es fan de las historias de este famoso detective jiji.

I couldn't stop fromfalling in love with a Sherlock Holmes jacket :D Wait until my boyfriend sees it, I want to wear it as he lves this famous detective's stories eheh.

También aproveché para echar un ojo a algún que otro trapito. Me fijé en una camiseta roja de manga corta y algo larga que tenía delante, a la izquierda, un lazito en una piel tipo cuero (sintético claro). Me encantó. Aquí va mi propuesta para lucirla en una noche de chicas, en una cita afterwork, o porque si:

While looking for the jacket I also spotted some other stuff. I noticed a red t-shirt with a small bow at a side. I loved it. Here's my proposal to wear it at a girls night out, an after work date,or because you want to:

Iría genial con un bolso tipo cluch que vi en Bimba y Lola. No recuerdo si era exactamente como lo dibujé. Lo tenían en varios tipos de pieles, muy chulos.

It would look great with a cluch I saw at Bimba y Lola. I can't remember if it was exatly how I draw it. They had them in various skin types.
