Cuenta atrás para las fiestas :)

Por fin ha terminado el puente. Lo digo porque me ha tocado trabajar, y eso de finde-venir-librar-venir-librar-venir-finde, me ha partido en dos. La próxima vez, me lo pido libre ;)

Finnally, the holiday week has passed. I've had to come to work beteween holidays and this weekend-work-holiday-work-holiday-work-weekend, has cracked me. Next time, I'll have them off ;)

Hablando de trabajo, comparto con vosotros un par de looks en un solo dibujo. El básico, un pantalón que me compré en MangoShop.com el año pasado. Un día, para una cita importante, me lo puse con polo, cinturón y zapatos todos negros y de H&M.

Talking about work, today I'll share with you 2 looks in one drawing. The basic feature, a pair of trousers I bought at MangoShop.com, last year's season. One day, for an important appointment, I wore a polo, belt and shoes all in black and from H&M.

Otro día, lo combiné con una camiseta blanca de H&M (comprada el día de la presentación de la colección especial de Sonia Rykiel), zapatos beige con cuña que compré en El Rastrillo y una cinta de raso marrón a modo de cinturón.

Another day, I combined it with a white top from H&M (bought at the presentation of Sonia Rykiels collection), beige wedges bough at El Rastrillo and a brown satin strap as a belt.

Para trabajar, y a pesar del frío invernal, también me gusta mucho lucir vestidos y faldas. Tengo una falda gris que heredé de mi hermana mayor que me encanta y que a pesar de los años que tiene, está de moda. Cuando decida ponermela la dibujo, eso sí, no me queda ni la mitad de bien que a mi hermana :)

To work, despise winter's cold, I also like to wear dresses and skirts. I have a grey skirt that belonged to my elder sister. I love that skirt and although it is from ages ago, it is still in. When I decide to wear it, I will draw it for you, but it won't look as good on me as it did on my sister :)

Hablando de vestidos, me fijé hace poco en un look de una chica que vi en el restaurante chino de mi barrio, Ni Hao. El look era perfecto para una jornada de trabajo o una cita con la pareja o lo que surja... La dibujo de espaldas porque es como la vi. El vestido era azul marino, con unas franjas beije en los puños y el cuello ribeteato también en beije. La chica los llevaba con unas medias del mismo tono del vestido y unos zapatos de tacón tipo Blucher. Aqui va el dibujo:

Talking about dresses, while dinning at the chinese restaurant in my neighbourhood, Ni Hao,I noticed one that a girl was wearing. The look was perfect for work, for a dte or any other apointment. I've drawn her back because that's what I saw her. The dress was navy blue, with two beige stripes on the cuffs and the collar was also edged in beige. She whore it with panties in navy blue aswell and brown heeled Bluchers.

Dejando el trabajo a un lado, en las próximas semanas estaremos liadillos con compromisos varios con motivo de las Fiestas Navideñas. Antes de las celebraciones familiares, a muchas nos toca asistir a reuniones de trabajo, de amigos, etc. Para cada uno de los eventos, optaremos por lucir nuestras mejores galas. Os dejo un par de propuestas.

Leaving work a side, in the next weeks will be busy attending the various Christmas Events. Before the familiar reunions, we have the office, dinner, the friends party, etc. For each event we'll want to look our best. Here have a couple of proposals.

La primera, es una mezcla de imaginación mía inspirándome en un modelo que vi en H&M.  Es un vestido corto con una apertura en la espalda en forma de lágrima que se podría combinar con unos zapatos de fiesta negros y para las que lo prefieran, medias negras con o sin fantasía. La versión de este vestido hecha por H&M es color cereza, si no me equivoco, con la apertura de la espalda bastante más pequeña.

The first, is a mixture of my imagination and a model I saw at H&M. It is a short dress with a drop shaped opening at the back that could be matched with black party shoes and, for those who prefer it, black panties, fantasy or plain. H&M's version, is in cherry coulour, I think, and the opening at the back is much smaller.

Para los accesorios, yo apostaría por el dorado. Casi todas las tiendas cuentan con bolsos tipo cluch de este color aunque me quedo con uno de Mango, pequeño y con un relieve tipo acolchado.

For the accessories, I'd go for gold. In all shops you'll find cluches in that colour. I noticed one from Mango that I liked very much.

 

Otra propuesta, también de H&M la vi hace poquito. El vestido, negro, tiene unos pailletes brillantes y un pronunciado escote en la espalda. Es un vestido muy sexy pero solo apto para las muy atrevidas ya que es bastante transparente. Para las menos atrevidas a las que también gusta lucir sexy, hay una versión en Sfera, también en negro pero sin brillos.

Another option, I saw it recently and is also from H&M. The dress, in black, has small shiny applications and open back. It is very sexy and perfect for the daring as it is quite transparent. For the less daring but that like to look sexy, there's a version at Sfera but without the shiny bits.

El retorno

Después de tanto tiempo toca retomar el blog. Perdonad que no lo hiciera antes, he estado liadilla y me ha sido imposible. Os cuento un poquillo mis quehaceres de los últimos días.

After such a long time, it is time to get back to it. Sorry for not having done it before, I've been kind of busy and it's was impossible. I 'll tell a bit of what I've been up to.

Primero hice una escapada a Tenerife de cuatro días. He estado por el sur, en un Hotel All Inclusive. Si, de los de pulserita... el Meliá Jardines del Teide. Tuve el gusto de que me invitara mi hermana a acompañarla a disfrutar de un premio que la tocó en la ofi... Si, nos dan premios, un día os lo cuento.

First, I've been to the south of Tenerife for four days and stayed in an All Inclusive Hotel. Yes, one of thouse where you're given a bracelet. I've had the pleasure to be invited by my sister to enjoy a prize she won at work. Yes, we're given prizes of this kind, I'll tell you about it some day.

Como no facturé, en mi maletita naranja tuve que meter solo lo justo y necesario para 4 días. Si viajáis, sabéis que hacer una maleta es todo un arte. Yo me lo tomo con un nivel del mítico Tetris, y así relleno los huecos la mar de bien y me cabe todo ;)

As I took my bag with me, I've had to pack my orange case with just the essential for four days. If you travel, you'll know that packin up is an art. I take as a level of Tetris, so I fill all the spaces perfectly and everything fits.

Llevé poca ropa pero todas las prendas combinables entre sí: un pantalón corto, uno largo, y camisetas a juego con ambos. Con poco, se tiene para cada ocasión, basta combinarlo bien. Además, yendo en plan total relax, no hace falta mucho.

I took very little clothes: a pair of shorts, a pair of trousers, t-shirts all combinable. With very little, you have for each moment, all you have to do is combine it well. Furthermore, for a total relax escape you don't need much.

Para el viaje, look cómodo y algo más fresco: jersey a rayas de H&M, pantalón corto de Formul@Joven, medias negras y bailarinas negras.

For the tryp, a confortable and a bit fresher look: striped wool top from H&M, shorts from Formul@Joven, black panties and black flats.

Con el tiempo, yendo a las islas, siempre se tiene suerte, así que pude disfrutar de un poquito de sol y de ¡gazpacho en Noviembre! Un lujazo. Uno de los días, para pasear opté por camiseta de Formul@Joven, el mismo pantalón corto, rebequita verde de Mango y mis PrettyBallerinas.

With the weather, in the Canaries, you're always lucky, so I was able to enjoy the warm sun and gazpacho in November! A luxury. One of the days, to go for a walk, I wore a t-shirt from Formul@Joven, same shorts, green jacket from Mango and my PrettyBallerinas.

Os dejo una muestra de lo que pudimos ver en uno de nuestros paseítos. Pero la isla ofrece muchisimo más así si no habéis estado aún, os recomiendo que vayáis.

Here you have a small sample of what we could see while walking. But the island offers much more so, if you haven't been there yet, I suggest you to go.

Después de comer, tocaba licorcillo y sesión de damas o dominó en una mesa con vistas al mar. Sí, como dos ancianillas pero te ayuda a desconectar y mucho.

After lunch, some liqueur and dames or domino session at a table with sea vew. Yes, like old ladies, but it helps to relax, and a lot.

Al refrescar un poco por la noche, opté por pantalón largo de H&M. Una de las noches me lo puse con top verde de Mango, mis PrettyBallerinas y colgante de Sfera (los suelen tener originales y bastante baratos).

As it got cooler in the evenings, I wore my blue trousers from H&M. One of the nights I wore them with a green top from Mango, my PrettyBallerinas and a pendant from Sfera (they have very original ones and quite cheap).

A la vuelta a Madrid, pude disfrutar de los últimos días del Rastrillo de Nuevo Futuro. Como os comenté en la última entrada, entre otros, está el stand de Portugal. Traen cosas para la casa: loza, toallas, manteles, vasos y otras para degustar allí con son el Oporto o los conocidos y riquisimos pastéis de Belem.

Back in Madrid, I could enjoy the last days of the Rastrillo de Nuevo Futuro. As I told on my last post, Portugal participates. They bring nice things for home: china, towels, table cloths, glasses and others to enjoy there like Port wine or the well known and delicious pastéis de Belem.

Semana Versace

Hello!

Esta ha sido una semana de emociones. La primera ha sido porque mi chico ha roto mi taza de gatitos :( Los desayunos ya no serán lo mismo.

This has been a weeek of emotions. The first was because my boyfriend broke my kittens mug :( Breakfasts won't be the same.

 El miércoles me recuperé del shock. He sido una de las muchisimas afortunadas que ha disfrutado de la preventa de la colección Versace para H&M :) La cita era a las 22h en la tienda de Gran Vía 32, Madrid. Cuando llegué, había un montón de gente en la puerta y un poco de lío sobre dónde empezaba la cola. Allí me enteré que había dos, una para Invitados por Lista (¡a leer mucho este blog para que la próxima me toque!) y otros con invitación de SModa... Mi cola era la segunda y ¡daba la vuelta al edificio! He aquí el comienzo de la cola, estábamos en la calle Mesoneros Romanos...

Wednesday, I got out of shock. I've been one of the many lucky people that enjoyed the presale of Versace for H&M :) The event was at 10pm in Gran Via 32, Madrid. When I got there there were loads of peopl and a bit of confusion about the queue. There were two, one with invitations (follow this blog avery day so that next time I get to be on the list) and the other was for people with SModa magazine's invitation. My queue was the second and it went ¡ all arround the bloc! This is where we started...

Pero la espera valió la pena, pude ver la colección Versace y disfrutar del 20% de descuento sobre el resto de la colección de H&M. Me agencié un LBD que llevaba siglos buscando, uno en un tono nude muy mono y un jersey a rayas marrones y negras. El último lo vereis en uno de los dibus de la entrada de hoy. La velada de Shopping estuvo amenizada por un DJ, cócteles y cosillas para picar tipo nachos, frutos secos, crudités.

But, it was worth to wait. I was able to see theVersace collection and enjoy the 20% off onall the rest of H&M. I bough a LBD that I've looking for for ages, another in nude, very cute, and a wool top y black and brown stripes. This last one you'l see in the drawings for today's post. While shopping we enjoy a DJ session live, cocktails and nachos, crudités, etc.

La invitación, nos dejaron quedarnosla.

A la salida,  nos dieron una bolsa con un cuaderno de Versace con las hojas en blanco y en los bordes de cada hoja, la greca típica de la marca, la revista SModa de este sábado y una muestra de perfume que por cierto soy incapaz de abrir. Las bolsas, monisimas:

On the way out, we were given a bag with a Versace notebook, next saturday's SModa magazine and a small Versace cologne to try, which I've not been able to open yet. The bags are sooo nice:

Pero antes, no pudimos evitar retratarnos en el foto call, y yo hice una foto a los globitos :)

Before leaving, we couldn't stop ourselves from picturing us at the photo call, and I took a picture of some balloons :)

Esta semana tocaba ponerme faldas y vestidos, que luego con el frío del invierno cuesta más. El lunes me puse un vestido de punto azul de hace un par de años de la Compañía Fantástica. No podía dejar de llevar mi maxi bolso negro de Tesco.

This week, I wore dresses and skirts as later on, when cold comes, it will be harder. On monday I wore a blue dress from La Compañía Fantástica. I had to use my Tesco maxi bag.

El martes, me puse una falda con todos morados de Formul@Joven.

On tuesday, I wore a skirt that I fell inlove two years ago and bough half price the next, from Formul@Joven.

Para la Shopping Night, me decanté por un look H&M: falda ajustada negra y top beige.

For the Shopping Night, I went for an H&M look: black mini and beige top.

Para el jueves, como dormía en casa de mi hermana (para ahorrar taxi hasta la mía) me puse la misma falda de H&M y el jersey que me agencié aprovechado el descuento de la Shopping Night.

On thursday, as I slept at my sister's (didn't want to pay for taxi to my place), I wore the same black skirt as the previous day and the striped wool top that I got at the Shopping Night.

Y ahora a recoger porque me voy al Rastrillo benéfico que organiza Nuevo Futuro, como todos los años, en el pabellón de la Pipa en la Casa de Campo, Madrid. Entre otros, está el stand de Portugal que siempre traen cosas monisimas (a parte de toallas) y que todos los años vende muchisimo para colaborar en la causa.

And now, I'm going to a benefit market calle Rastrillo that Nuevo Futuro organizes each year. Amongst other there is the Portuguese stand where they sell a lot of beautifull stuff and make a lot of money for the cause.

Key items to discover the city

Esta semana participé en un concurso que lazó Mango a través de Facebook. Se trataba de hacer una propuesta de qué llevarse en un viaje a Barcelona y hacerlo a través de Polyvore, una web donde descubrir o crear tendencias. Aquí os paso el link de lo que creé. Muy sencillo como me gusta y no se si mola como para ganar pero sí lo suficiente como para que, si me comprara las prendas que propongo, destacar en un paseo por la ciudad Condal.

This week I participated in an online contest organised by Mango through Facebook. We had to propose what to wear on a tryp to Barcelona and do it through Polyvore, a website where to find styles or set trends. Here you have the llok I proposed. Very simple, as I like it and I don't know wether it's good enough to win the contest. I only know that if I bought the clothes I propose, I woul stand out in a walk through the "ciudad Condal".

Los dibujos de la entrada de hoy son un look que llevaba ayer una compañera de la oficina, de otro departamento y el segundo es un look de noche que vi en un restaurante por Halloween. Del primero me encantó el detalle de las hombreras de piel en la camiseta y del segundo el cluch naranja en total contraste con el negro del vestido.

My drawing for today's post are a look by a colleague at work, from another department, and the second is a night outfit that I noticed at a restaurant in Halloween. From the first one I loved the details on the shoulders and from the second, the orange cluch.
